The Minneapolis-St. Paul company will provide a custom event banner (10 by 3 ft.) to each event in the NROC race series. Visual Impact is a leading producer of event banners. Among its clients are the U.S. Olympic Committee and the International Skating Union. The company uses the latest print technology to create high-quality banners, billboards and other digital graphics, including vehicle and event graphics. "Our goal is to become the top graphics resource for event producers," said Mike Cofrin, Visual Impact's director of sales and marketing and cofounder of the Saint Paul Inline Marathon. NROC is a new race series for inline skaters. Its goal is to add a new layer of excitement to inline racing in North America. NROC will rank skaters using two separate systems: one for pros, the other for non-pros (recreational and fitness skaters). The pro system will assign points based on order of finish in several categories. The non-pro system (NROC Prime) will provide performance scores to all marathon participants.
